Foodshare staff gives back

Each year the team at Foodshare opts to collect donations for one of the local partner agencies that we work with, instead of doing a "Secret Santa" or other kind of gift exchange among ourselves.

This year the team picked South Park Inn, a shelter in Hartford that serves men, women, and children.  South Park Inn's wish list included toys for the children, winter attire like gloves and scarves, and personal care products.

The generous employees at Foodshare donated four big boxes full of items directly from the wish list and on Friday afternoon, Executive Assistant Nina Spineti delivered the donations to South Park Inn. 

Angel Medina was pleased to accept the donation on behalf of the team at the shelter.
