Once a month, I take a small group of employees out for breakfast so we can have some informal conversation about what's going on at Foodshare. This morning, the group happened to include Fran, who is the second longest employee at Foodshare, with just a couple years fewer than my 30! So naturally, the conversation devolved a couple of times into stories about the old days. But I think that can be fun and instructive for employees, too.
And apparently at least one person who joined us agreed, because I got this note:
"Thank you again for breakfast today! It was nice to be able to hear stories about Foodshare from you and Fran and to learn more about the warehouse team and their duties. Breakfast with the Boss really is a wonderful opportunity and I’m glad you offer it."
