Yesterday, State Representative Tami Zawistowski helped out at the Mobile Foodsharedistribution site in Suffield. Foodshare distributes fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as other perishable food at West Suffield Congregational Church, 1408 Mountain Rd. (Corner of Rt. 168 & Rt. 187).
Approximately 50-75 local residents receive food at the site, which is also seeking volunteers to help distribute food from their food pantry on Thursday evenings. The next mobile distribution will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 1:45 pm.
