The Lexicon of Sustainability, a visual arts exhibit will engage, educate and activate people to pay closer attention to how they eat, what they buy, and where their responsibility begins for creating a healthier, safer food system in America. Five Hartford organizations will participate and host a pop-up Lexicon of Sustainability visual art show, spurring dialog about how individuals and communities can work together to strengthen local food systems. These pop-up shows will be presented at HartBeat Ensemble’s Carriage House Theater, Billings Forge Community Works, Hartford Public Library, and Capital Community College, Hartford and at the Hartford Food Systems.
