September is Hunger Action Month, when the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks, including Foodshare, unites to urge individuals to take action in their communities. It is our opportunity to create a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our mission to help end hunger in America. Together We Can Solve Hunger.
Orange, the color of the harvest season, is also the color for the movement to solve hunger. September 4 is Hunger Action Day and we hope that the country is covered with orange!
Please Turn Orange for Hunger Action on Thursday by wearing orange. Take a picture and show all your friends that you believe we can solve hunger in this country.
