Yesterday State Senator Joe Markley joined Mobile Foodshare hosted at The Tabernacle in Southington. Senator Markley has been a long time Foodshare supporter, joining us on three occasions in the last four years, at Mobile Foodshare in the summer heat and at Thanksgiving activities in the cool of November. As a member of the Health and Human Services Committee at the State General Assembly, he has a strong interest in making sure government agencies work together effectively, work well with their nonprofit partners, and are responsive to the needs of the people they serve.
