Yesterday, Miranda Muro, Foodshare's Grants and Program Impact Manager, attened an event hosted by the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA) to celebrate recent 2014 funding awards through CHEFA's Nonprofit Grant Program.

 

This year, CHEFA awarded $2.5 million in grants to programs across the State that offer essential safety net services, including $75,000 to Foodshare. It was great to meet all of the CHEFA staff involved with their grant program, and to talk to fellow grant recipients!
