We received a nice surprise last week when the Credit Union League of CT came out for a visit with a $2,000 donation! Fred Brown, Director of Marketing & Member Development (pictured with Wendy Kohn, Foodshare's Director of Development) and Chris Whalen represented the League. Fred explained that the Credit Union League raises funds throughout the year and that they have a focus on hunger issues. Their gift will help Foodshare distribute nutritious food for those in need in our community!
