A Glimpse into the Nonprofit World

A group of students from Trinity College stopped by Foodshare last week to listen to a panel of Foodshare staff members talking about what it's like to work at a nonprofit organization. Warehouse Manager Rich Hiscox, Director of Development Wendy Kohn, Director of Communications Mark Cherrington, and Community Involvement Manager Sarah Santora provided a wide range of perspectives on Foodshare and nonprofit work more generally, as well as personal histories. The students appeared interested (or at least polite) and asked excellent questions-all the more impressive as Foodshare was the fourth nonprofit they visited that day!
