Cahoots Loot
The Cahoots Salon in Avon decided they wanted to do something for the community, so they held a raffle among their customers for a spectacular handmade gift basket, with the proceeds going to Foodshare. On January 14 they chose the winner of the basket, a well-coiffed woman named Judy, and presented Foodshare with a check for $400—enough to feed a person for more than a year. Our thanks to all the customers who donated so generously; that’s the kind of community participation we need if we are to solve hunger. Read more here.
