Best Overall Pizza...

On Sunday the Rotary Club of Bloomfield held their 1st Annual Pizza Bowl at the Thomas Hooker Brewery! For a $15 donation, guests could enjoy unlimited beer tastings, soft drinks and pizza from 6 Bloomfield restaurants. After trying all of the pies, guests and a panel of local celebrity judges voted for their favorite. The winners are below:

• Best Overall Pizza: Bloomfield Village Pizza
• Best Crust: Duncaster
• Best Cheese: Pasticceria Italia
• Best Sauce: Duncaster
• Best Specialty Pizza: Bloomfield Village Pizza
• People's Choice Winner: Duncaster

Events Coordinator, Jordan Nyberg, was on the panel of judges and said “The Duncaster jerk chicken pizza was by-far my favorite! I love thick crust pizza, and this was amazing! Pasticceria Italia was really great as well – if I ever need lunch for a meeting, I’m going to be giving them a call! This was a really fun event – I hope that more people will join us next year!”
