A Hunger Action Team Tidbit

The Hunger Action Team (HAT) in Newington has been busy piloting SNAP outreach with help from Foodshare volunteers at the local Stop & Shop. Based on the results of this pilot, the HAT is hoping to expand this model to other Stop & Shop locations throughout Greater Hartford in 2015.
