Fueled by Compassion

Windsor Food and Fuel has been a Foodshare partner since 1997. Over the years they have done phenomenal work connecting local residents with an array of services. Andy and Ted, who run the program, have made sure that a social worker is present during pantry hours to make the process of getting food simple for their guests. They operate a Mobile Foodshare site to connect those same people with fresh produce twice a month, and they recently started a backpack program to help kids, and families, get access to food every weekend.

On a recent visit to Windsor Food and Fuel, our team learned more about a shopping experience they created at the nearby senior center, to encourage elderly residents—many of whom live on a fixed income—to take advantage of their programs.

Foodshare is so fortunate to partner with an organization, like Windsor Food and Fuel, working on the front lines day after day, and showing such commitment to meeting the needs of our hungry neighbors. Thank you for all you do!

Windsor Food and Fuel is open Mon - Tues 9:00 - 11:15 AM, Wed 1:00 - 3:15 PM, and Thurs 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 - 7:00 PM. 

Mobile Foodshare visits every other Friday from 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM.
