Cigna plants a garden

Yesterday, I attended a "Garden Party" at Cigna in Bloomfield.  But it's not what you think!  This was the kick off for a new initiative at Cigna - an employee operated garden that will donate all the vegetables they grow to Foodshare!  This is the first time a company has offered some of its own land and its employees time to grow a garden for Foodshare.

What a great idea!  It's great for Cigna and their employees, who will get out in the fresh air and get some exercise.  And it will provide fresh, just picked, high quality produce to people in need!
