CHEFA Grant

Foodshare recently received a $75,000 grant from the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA) in support of our efforts to distribute more healthy, nutritious food to our neighbors in need.

A portion of this award will help us distribute more produce through the MobileFoodshare program, and another portion will help us distribute more frozen meat through our rapidly growing Meat the Need Program.  Thank you to everybody at CHEFA for your ongoing support of Foodshare’s work to solve hunger!
