Trucks Already Lining Up for the Convoy of Caring

So far, 20 trucks have reserved a spot in Foodshare’s Convoy of Caring, an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the extraordinary generosity of our food industry donors. The event includes extensive media coverage, speakers, and a lavish breakfast before the trucks form a convoy and drive from Rocky Hill to Foodshare’s facility in Bloomfield. “It’s very exciting to see so many companies already committed to the September 30 event,” says Paula Siebers, Foodshare’s Food Sourcing Manager. “I’m hoping that means we have even more participants this year than we did last year.”
